One of the best ways to earn big money is by selling silver and gold ingots. However, if you are starting out in Manibus, you will not be able to mine silver and gold unless you unlock the solar drill. Selling copper and tin ore to a vendor can help bring in the bacon.

Copper is everywhere in the starting areas of Manibus. If you’ve followed the starter quests, you have already built your furnace, which allows you to smelt ore into ingots. Though copper ingots sell for 4 EL each. Silver ingots sell for 6,000 EL each, while gold ingots can fetch up to 12,000 EL. That’s a huge boost when you’re just starting out.

When you upgrade to electric furnaces, you’ll be able to smelt faster smelting. You can pick memetic specializations that increase your mining yield and processing speed. This is a very efficient way to farm, allowing you to make more EL per hour.

Sell Cooked Food

Oftentimes, players overlook selling food as a way to make quick money, but it can actually be one of the most reliable income streams. Even at a low level, cooked food sells pretty well.  Raw meat sells for 10 EL per piece. Common (green) quality cooked foods sell for 15 EL a piece. Beyond chipsets, items like Weapon Calibration, Solar Drills, and Backpacks usually sell pretty well because players need these constantly, and demand never really drops. If you’re lucky, you may hit the jackpot in Memetic Specializations and have Solar Drills, Chipsets, and Backpacks unlocked back-to-back and early on, all of which are extremely profitable.

You can also craft Whims from special deviations that craft. For example, Frog Legs is especially in high demand because, unlike the Energy Drink, Frog Legs doesn’t remove your drink buff.

Join Public Crisis Events

Following the main quest line and completing missions is one of the best ways to make Energy Links. But another really great way is to participate in public crisis events. Events like Operation Chiron pay up to 22,000 EL if you complete all optional objectives, which is a lot for a single run.

Even lower-level events like Dig to Hell can provide consistent payouts, especially when you’re low on gear or still leveling. These events scale with your skill and equipment, so don’t feel like you have to be fully geared out to benefit.

• Electric Drill: Treasure Hunter: The Treasure Hunter memetic specialization increases the yield of Silver, Gold, and Stardust ore by 100% when using the Electric Drill. If you have both the Solar Drill and Electric Drill: Treasure Hunter specializations, you can make more than 25k EL.

• Backpack Expansion: The Backpack Expansion specializations allow you to craft an item that expands your backpack by 40, 60, and 80. These sell especially well.

• Precious Metal Refining: This memetic specialization lets you smelt gold and silver into ingots. Though the electric drill and tungsten pickaxe allow you to mine or, only this memetic lets you smelt it and gold and silver ingots are always in demand.

• Combo Chipset: This memetic unlocks the ability to turn electronic parts, metal scraps, and other parts into chipsets, which sell for 12k EL each.
