Solarpunk Co-Op Trailer Reveals Relaxing Multiplayer

A new trailer for Solarpunk is giving players their first look at co-op gameplay, showing how the cozy survival crafting game will let friends build floating homes together in the clouds.

Indie publisher rokaplay and developer Cyberwave revealed the multiplayer trailer this week, highlighting the calm, collaborative side of the upcoming open-world crafting experience. At launch, players will be able to explore the skies with up to four players in online co-op.

Set in a hopeful, solarpunk-inspired future, the game takes place across a network of floating islands powered by renewable energy. Players gather resources, grow crops, and craft tools while designing their own sky-high homes using sustainable systems fueled by sunlight, wind, and water.

The co-op trailer shows friends working side by side to harvest materials, place building pieces, and expand their shared island settlements. Unlike many survival games, Solarpunk leans heavily into a low-stress experience—there’s no combat pressure or looming disasters, just exploration and creativity at your own pace.

Players will also be able to construct customizable airships, allowing them to travel between distant islands and discover new building materials, decorations, and technologies.

The game has already built a sizable following ahead of launch. According to the developers, Solarpunk has climbed into the ranks of Steam’s most wishlisted upcoming titles, approaching one million wishlists since its reveal.

Despite that popularity, the project itself comes from a surprisingly small team—just two developers working to bring the peaceful crafting world to life.

For players curious to try it early, a playable demo is currently available on Steam, allowing fans to experiment with building systems, renewable power setups, and early crafting progression.

Solarpunk is scheduled to launch on PC via Steam in 2026.
