The Best Looking Clothes and Spacesuits in Starfield

While Starfield is a fun and interesting game there’s something sorely missing from the game. In early reviews of Starfield, a few gamers mentioned that Starfield seems to be a bit soulless. And, as much as I’ve enjoyed playing the game, the lack of cultural influence can be felt throughout. Perhaps that’s why the fashion in Starfield is so bland.

Starfield Armor and Fashion are Bland

While there are a few (very few) NPCs who have enviable spacesuits and apparel, the selection for our character is just abysmal. Most of the spacesuits and apparel look the same but have different names, leaving much to be desired. The only cultural influence on fashion in the game is the American West of the 19th century. Oh! And the Sari, which is super cute.

Still, there are a few good-looking spacesuits and clothing pieces. You can still find a few awesome pieces here and there. Here’s where you can find the best-looking gear among the stars in Starfield.

The Best-Looking Spacesuits in Starfield

Most of the spacesuits in Starfield look the same. Four main variant styles of spacesuits are everywhere. Then, there are the rare spacesuits that actually look pretty fire—or at least different from bubble spacesuits. Here are the best-looking spacesuits in Starfield. Mind you, this list is based on looks, not stats, though some have amazing stats.

  • Starborn Spacesuit Tenebris – You get the Starborn Spacesuit Tenebris after your fourth New Game Plus (NG+).

  • Sentinel’s Refined UC Antixeno Spacesuit — Acquired after completing the eighth UC Vanguard main mission.

  • Mark I Spacesuit — Can be found in the basement of Constellation in the room across from Cora’s bedroom.

  • The Mantis Spacesuit – The Mantis Spacesuit is on Denebola I-b in the Secret Hideout. When you kill a random Spacer, there’s a chance they will drop a slate titled “Secret Outpost”. This will trigger the quest to find the Secret Hideout, a quest that will leave you the Mantis Spacesuit and the Razorleaf (Mantis) Spaceship in the end.

Best Looking Apparel in Starfield

Though most of the clothes in Starfield are basically the same, there are a few pieces of apparel that stand out. Apparel in Starfield is just armor or clothes. Some pieces of apparel may have a useful stat. Most pieces can simply be looted from your target’s body while other pieces can be found around that particular area. Here are the best-looking clothes in Starfield and where to find them.

  • Teal Leather Jumpsuit – While you can find various leather jumpsuits throughout Starfield, the most unique jumpsuit can be found on Clones at The Facility on Charybdis III in the Charybdis system. When you land at The Crucible for the first time, you will start a fun questline that will take you to The Facility on the other side of the planet.

  • Disciples Streetwear – The Disciples street gang is a ruthless petty gang in Ebbside, Neon City. To get the Disciples Streetwear, you have to kill a member of the Disciples. They may drop one of three versions of the outfit, each with a different stat.

  • First Officer’s Outfit – The First Officer’s Outfit was found after looting the locked room inside Marco's Ship during the "On the Run” Freestar Collective faction quest. It’s one of three outfits, but The First Officer’s Outfit is the best-looking one.

  • Neon Security Uniform – The Neon Security Uniform is the uniform of the crooked cops of Neon City. This uniform is easily found in Neon Security Headquarters upstairs in the lockers. Don’t forget to grab some contraband from the Stolen Items Locker on your way out.

  • Ryujin Uniform – The Ryujin Uniform is the security uniform of the Ryujin Corporation’s security team on Neon. To get this uniform you have to kill one of the guards wearing it. The best way to get the Ryujin Uniform is to use Manipulation to lure the guard into a corner and, with a gun with a suppressor, take them out.

These spacesuits and apparel pieces are the best-looking pieces in Starfield, in my personal opinion. Hopefully, we’ll see more diverse and fun pieces in upcoming content. Which pieces do you think look the best? If we missed a piece of armor or spacesuit you think looks great, tell us in the comments so we can check it out.
