It tells the story of Zhang Xiaofan (Li Yifeng), a young man who becomes a disciple of the Qingyun Sect after his village is massacred by a cult. He meets Biyao (Zhao Liying), the daughter of the cult leader, and falls in love with her. However, their romance is doomed by fate and destiny. The drama also stars Yang Zi as Lu Xue Qi, Cheng Yi as Lin Jing Yu, Qin Junjie as Ceng Shu Shu, and Mao Zijun as Qin Wu Yan.
Sword and Fairy 4 仙剑四 (2024) tells the story of Yun Tianhe (Chen Zheyuan), a young man who inherits the double swords of Wangshu and Xihe from his parents, who were former disciples of the Qionghua Sect. The sect used the swords to seal the demon realm and caused a war between humans and demons. Yun Tianhe embarks on a journey to uncover his parents' past and meets Han Lingsha (Ju Jingyi), Liu Mengli (Mao Xiaohui), and Murong Ziying (Mao Zijun), who become his companions and love interests. Along the way, they face various dangers and challenges, as well as discovering their true identities and destinies. The prequel to the 2024 release of Sword and Fairy 4 is Chinese Paladin 3 (2009). Chinese Paladin Season 5 is the Prequel to Sword and Fairy (2024)
Chinese Paladin 5 仙剑云之凡 (2016) tells the story of Jiang Yunfan (Elvis Han), the son of a demon lord who becomes involved in the conflict between the human realm and the Netherworld. Along the way, he meets Tang Yurou (Guli Nazha), a beautiful but sickly girl who teaches him about love and sacrifice; Long You (Joe Cheng), the second prince of a demon tribe who is searching for his brother; and Xiao Man (Yang Caiqi), a descendant of Goddess Nuwa who is seeking a stolen artifact. The drama is set in a fantasy world where humans, gods, and demons coexist, and features elements of romance, adventure, comedy, and xianxia (cultivation).
There will also be a remake of Chinese Paladin Season 5 released later in 2024 starring Dylan Wang, Zhao Jin Mai, and Bao Sjamg En.

Sword and Fairy 祈今朝 is actually Sword and Fairy 6 and the sequel to Chinese Paladin Season 5. This story follows Yue Jinzhao (Xu Kai) and Yue Qi (Esther Yu), two mysterious individuals who wake up outside a village with no memories of their past. They join forces with Luo Zhaoyan (Wan Peng), the head of a powerful house who is trying to defeat a cult organization; Ju Shifang (Zhou Zhan), a mechanic and member of the True Martial Alliance; Ming Xiu (Bai Bing Ke), a cold and passive-aggressive mage; and Xian Qing (Fu Xin Bo), a stoic wolf demon. The drama is set in a world where the three races of humans, gods, and beasts are in conflict, and where the fate of all living beings depends on the nine founts that nourish them. The drama, like the game and the other series, explores fate, free will, friendship, and loyalty. Sword and Fairy airs on WeTV on January 18, 2024.
Both 2024 Sword and Fairy dramas are expected to be faithful to the original games, but they will also add some new elements and twists to make them more appealing to the modern audience.
