Wikkl Works, a developer passionate about the outdoors and game development, has announced its upcoming climbing and bouldering simulator, New Heights. Experience the thrill of climbing from the comfort of your home as you scale real-world cliffs and structures. With realistic, physics-based mechanics, you’ll master balance, grip, positioning, and more to expertly climb each location.
As you progress through the game, you can elevate your character's skills and unlock new gear. The more you climb, the more of an expert you become. You can even compete with other climbers in the community to see who can reach the highest spots on the leaderboards.
What sets New Heights apart from other climbing games is that it was created by real climbers who used photogrammetry technology to scan real-world locations and transfer them into the game. This means that players can climb structures they've only dreamed of, with the added bonus of being able to climb off-limits locations.
New Heights features a wide range of real-world locations scanned via drone and transferred directly into the game. The realistic mechanics of the game make players feel like they're really mastering the art of climbing, as they practice finding the right grip, balance, and more while they traverse each structure.
