Overwatch Archives: Retribution Event Will Run From April 10-30
Overwatch's April event is Overwatch Archives: Retribution. Players will embark on two PVE missions based on the lore. Players will play through King's Row Uprising to battle Null Sector omnics (robots) have invaded. Blizzard also added a new game mode called Retribution where players get to play as Moira, Genji or McCree to square up against Talon on the new Rialto map.
Retribution was a failed Blackwatch mission in Venice, Italy. The Blackwatch team was sent to eliminate a high ranking Talon official, but the mission went south. The file is now declassified, hence the archives. This event will give us 100 new items, including more original skins.
Overwatch has been one of the most popular shooters since its release May 2016. Each season, Blizzard Entertainment hooks players even more with events that give heroes new skins, biographies, digital comics and more. April 2017 gave us Overwatch: Uprising, an event that took us deeper into Overwatch's covert and turbulent organization, Blackwatch. Uprising centered on the events that led to the Omnic Crisis and the fall of Overwatch.
