Mortal Kombat 11's Jax Ending is Infuriating "Certain" White Male Gamers Because...

They’re kinda stupid.

I said what I said.

Mortal Kombat is back with another spine-rippingly good addition to the franchise with the 11th installment of the game. MK has allowed players to bash each other’s heads in, rip off each other’s limbs, and decapitate our opponents for nearly 30 years. But for some reason, the subconsciously racist faction of the gamer base have taken issue with Jax’s character ending as well as giving female champions more story time.

Each MK champion has an alternate “What If…” ending when you beat the game with that character. Jax’s alternate ending was him imagining a better world for all, by going back in time and preventing the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Pretty dope, eh. Well, not if you’re hell-bent on being a racist twat. Seriously, what type of miserable excuse for a human being do you have to be mad at a fictional character going back in time and preventing one of the biggest atrocities in the history of human beings? How many films talk about going back in time to kill Hitler?

One redditer said, “The guy goes back in time to end slavery of black people, but in MK universe, Shao Khan has been enslaving people of all skin colors for about a thousand years, but Jax only cares about freeing black people?” The thread gets worse as these self-appointed arbiters of gaming standards voice their displeasure at the lessening of cleavage in female characters. One guy even jokes, “Watch MK12 disable Fatalities on female characters by default.”

When Jax won the tournament, he said, “All I wanted was to fix my life. Now I have the power to fix history.” It’s a testament to Jax’s character that he’s even thinking on this large a scale in terms of just wanting to make things right.

I’m lucky. My family and I lived the American dream. But most people who look like me haven’t had that chance. I owe it to them to put things right, and I’m not waiting centuries for people to get woke.

Not once did Jax say anything about Black power, erasing White people, or anything that warrants the nastiness springing forth from a certain type of gamer who sees anything including diversity or history that has to do with non-White males as “controversial” and “part of the SJW agenda.” Jax simply wanted to make the world a better place FOR ALL. That’s it. There is no “reverse racism”. There is no “political agenda.” Just making the world a better place for all. To me, that says love.

Here’s Jax’s Mortal Kombat 11 ending.

Luckily, the negative feedback from Jax’s ending does not speak for the opinions of the majority of gamers who have played the game. Unfortunately, negativity’s voice tends to be louder than the positive. If only we could go back in time to stop the spread of racism…

MK 11 has an amazing storyline. It’s fun, kinda kitschy, and definitely will be one of the top 10 best games released in 2019. Have you played it yet? If you haven’t and plan on getting it, hit up Green Man Gaming to get it on sale on PC.
