Fallout 76: Radio Vacuum Tubes in Watoga

If you’re new to Fallout 76, chances are, you may have a little difficulty completing some of the quests—not because they are difficult, but because some items aren’t as easy to find as others. This has been the case for me during the daily quest for the Raiders to find radio vacuum tubes. The only location I had been given up until recently, was Wavy Willard’s Water Park. Last week, I was sent to Watoga.

Quest: The Importance of Communication

The Importance of Communication is a daily quest given by Wren at Crater. The objective is to collect three radio vacuum tubes. Wren will mark the location on your map. There are six possible locations she will send you:

  • Eastern Regional Penitentiary

  • Highland Marsh

  • Valley Galleria

  • Wade Airport

  • Watoga

  • Wavy Willard's Water Park

Location: Watoga

More specifically, the radio vacuum tubes are located outside. One radio vacuum tube is located on the ground level, across the street from the Watoga Municipal Building, sitting atop a wooden box.

Just outside of the Watoga Municipal Building

Inside the Municipal building, looking directly across the street to where you need to go.

The other two radio vacuum tubes are located on the roof of the Civic Center. You’ll see the roof is easily accessible by the stairwell on the side of the building. Be careful, there are level 48 Super Mutants up there.
