Fallout for Hope Event Brings Fallout Community together for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

The Fallout community is probably one of the nicest gaming communities within the gaming industry. And keeping that same energy, YouTuber Kenny who goes by CHAD: A Fallout 76 Podcast brought together over 250 Fallout content creators for a massive charity event, Fallout For Hope for St. Jude PLAY LIVE charity to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event will be from December 14-20 across Twitch, Facebook Gaming, and YouTube. You can find content creators under the tag #FalloutForHope.

Why Fallout For Hope is Raising Money for St. Jude

On December 14th through the 20th over 200 streamers, content creators and community leaders worldwide will be questing for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. From the most well-known name in the community to new streamers. Every Fallout game, every console on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook. As one family, in one voice, we are hoping to end this year by offering hope to children facing the darkness of their own as they battle just to live.

“Every year almost half a million children worldwide are diagnosed with cancer. 20% of them will not survive it.” Michael Lopez from TheGamer talked with Fallout For Hope organizer, Kenny, about why he started the event and how Fallout For Hope grew from 20 content creators to more than 250!

To prepare for the event, the community came together to help new and less experienced streamers with stream setup how-tos, tech support, marketing, matchmaking, coming up with fun events, assets, and helping them to reach them reach the Twitch goal of an affiliate. In true, Fallout community fashion, gamers came together to help each other get ready for the event. Fallout For Hope will include some of the top Fallout 76 streamers, including Munchkinjesse, and working with members of Bethesda.

Fallout For Hope is pretty much a superstream event of people who just want to bring some type of hope and cheer through doing something they love—gaming. You can donate via Tiltify here or at your streamer of choice’s channel. Most of the content creators involved with Fallout For Hope will be streaming from the Fallout series. The charity event will include giveaways, game shows, and more! We do hope to see you there!
